Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to join their team. As a Purchasing Clerk, you will be part of the procurement department supporting the purchasing and inventory management functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Assist with vendor sourcing by requesting, collecting, and comparing quotes to support purchasing decisions
Enter and process purchase requisitions accurately within the ERP system, maintaining precise records
Support inventory control to ensure appropriate stock levels and track purchase orders for on-time delivery
Communicate with vendors regarding order status, discrepancies, and updates to ensure smooth procurement operations
Organize and maintain purchasing documentation and files, supporting administrative tasks as needed
What's Needed?
Experience working with ERP systems; SAP preferred
Strong attention to detail with high-level data entry accuracy
Basic knowledge of purchasing, procurement, and inventory control processes
Effective organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and follow-up abilities
