The Financial Analyst Intern will gain hands‑on experience across acquisitions and asset management, working closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams. This role offers exposure to the full real estate investment lifecycle, including market research, underwriting, financing, and ongoing asset performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and underwrite potential acquisitions and present strategic recommendations
Conduct market research and evaluate target market trends
Assist Accounting with monthly financial reviews, audits, reporting, and reserve draws
Perform initial screening of investment opportunities for alignment with company strategy
Maintain and track acquisition and disposition pipelines
Coordinate with internal teams to gather and update critical data
Support financial modeling and investment analysis
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for senior management
Assist with project-based and ad hoc financial analyses
Contribute to special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Coursework in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related field preferred
Strong understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Experience or familiarity with financial modeling
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
High level of attention to detail and accountability
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast‑paced environment
