About The Role
The Coordinator’s primary responsibilities include providing administrative support to the Operations Manager and team. The Coordinator will provide all data entry into report directly to the Operations Manager.
What you will be doing
Manage customer orders and inventory systems.
Answering phones and assisting with customer needs.
Enter customer orders and railcar shipments in inventory.
Ensure all railcars’ Inbound and Outbound inspections are completed.
Scale trucks in and out for load weights.
Prepare documentation for truck arrivals and departures (Bill of Lading, Truck Arrival Checklist, Truck Departure Checklist).
Prepare load schedule for next day’s loads.
Provide Safety Briefing to new drivers, vendors and visitors.
Contact carriers to schedule pick up times for next day’s loads.
Requirements of a Successful Coordinator
Ability to follow directions (written and verbal).
Attention to detail, self-motivated, multi-task and good organizational skills.
Knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Knowledge and experience with SAP – Preferred.
Physical Requirements
Coordinator will work on-site.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
