Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Tanner, AL. The role offers weekly pay, benefits, and a dependable driving career.
Pay & Schedule
$1000–1703+ per week; trip pay $290.45 per day
Hours per week: 50–55
Schedule: Monday – Friday, start 1:30 AM
Safety bonus: $300 quarterly
Paid training
Route & Freight
Local home daily shuttle runs from Tanner, AL to Morristown, TN
Freight: Steel (no coils), steel and metal only
No auto-only restriction

Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age
Class A CDL and required endorsements
9 months experience within past 3 years OR 2 years within last 5 years OR 5 years within last 10 years
Pass Ryder drug test
Pass Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check (including last 3 years)
Pass DOT physical
Pass Ryder road test
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and agency regulations
Detect and eliminate safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
Load and unload freight or assist as required
Perform other duties as assigned
