The Finance Analyst is an entry‑level role within the Technology Finance team, providing an excellent opportunity for a motivated early‑career professional to develop broad financial expertise. This position supports accounting and financial operations, FP&A, and strategic business management. The analyst assists with budget tracking, monthly reporting, data analysis, and invoice coding, while contributing to automation and AI‑driven initiatives that improve finance team efficiency. Candidates require a solid foundation in finance or accounting and strong analytical skills.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports, budget tracking, and variance analyses for assigned departments.
Process and code incoming invoices to appropriate GL accounts, verify PO matching accuracy, and manage follow‑ups with Vendor Management and Accounts Payable.
Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles by gathering data, building models, and validating results.
Maintain cost center records and assist with chargeback allocations and reconciliation of utility and prepaid accounts.
Assist in identifying, scoping, and implementing automation opportunities within finance workflows using AI‑assisted solutions.
Participate in finance process transformation initiatives, documenting current‑state workflows and recommending improvements.
Contribute to a collaborative, high‑performance team culture as an engaged associate and culture carrier.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related analytical role.
Foundational knowledge of financial concepts including financial modeling, journal entry development, monthly and quarterly P&L reporting (GAAP), and GL management.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic modeling).
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint).
Exposure to or coursework in data analytics, automation tools (Power Automate, Python, RPA), or AI/ML concepts is preferred.
Experience with or understanding of ERP/invoicing systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Coupa) is a plus.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail across financial data, reporting, and analyses.
Demonstrated curiosity and enthusiasm for applying automation and AI tools to streamline financial processes.
