Role Overview

As a Customer Pickup Associate, the primary function of this position is to safely and efficiently assist customers picking up purchased merchandise by loading and securing merchandise into their vehicles, while providing world class service. The Customer Pickup Associate is also responsible for logging and releasing merchandise for pick up. Your contributions will ensure the success of the Operations Department at CITY Furniture.

Location: TAMARAC
Reports To: Operations Manager
Department: Operations
Pay Rate: $16.25/hr
Responsibilities

Load product into customers' vehicles using proper material handling techniques and equipment to minimize damages, ensuring a safe, secure load.
Stage, scan, and examine products pulled for Customer Pick Up.
Log and release all Customer Pickup orders while controlling flow of traffic.
Coordinate movement of sold clearance products.
Assist in other departments within the distribution center as needed.
Operate an order picker and tugger safely around the warehouse area.
Requirements and Qualifications

Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test, background check, and physical ability test.
Education & Work Experience:

No high-school diploma required.
No previous experience required.

Work Environment & Schedule:

Flexible days between 10:00am - 9:00pm.
40 hours per week.
0% of Travel.

Physical Requirements:

Lifting up to 75 lbs+, bending, prolonged standing and walking.
Use of Safety equipment.

Technology Requirements:

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Basic knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
WMS – High Jump (preferred but not required).
AS400 (preferred but not required).
Director (preferred but not required).

Certifications / Licenses:

No certifications required.
