Responsibilities
Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
Measure, cut, shape, assemble, place and join studs using steel materials
Install metal framing
Notify the supervisor of any equipment deficiencies
Follow all safety procedures
Keep work area clean
Other duties as required
Requirements
Motivated and self-disciplined
Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
Reliable and punctual
Previous experience in the commercial construction industry preferred
