HDD Operators
in Tampa, Orlando, St. Petersburg, and Ocala, Florida.
Primary Responsibilities
The HDD Operator's main responsibility is to operate heavy equipment safely for natural gas pipeline installation. Additional duties support the crew as needed.
Requirements
Previous HDD experience required.
Backhoe and/or Mini Ex experience is a plus.
Experience in construction or utility distribution (Gas or Electric) preferred.
Minimum 3 years of operating excavation equipment in the utility industry.
Ability to read standards and schematics, technical thinking skills.
Physical Demands
Lift/move up to 50 pounds.
Continuous standing, walking on uneven surfaces, turning, stooping, kneeling, crouching, speaking, hearing.
Work Environment
Outdoor weather conditions.
Potential exposure to wet/humid conditions, cold, heat, loud noise, and traffic.
Overtime work may be required based on workload. The company enforces a drug-free environment and complies with DOT/FMSCA drug testing policies.
