Position Overview
Ryder is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver in Indianapolis, IN.
Pay & Schedule
Hourly Pay: $26.50
Hours per week: 40-45, Monday-Friday
Weekly pay
Paid training
Start time varies.
Routes & Equipment
Run in: surrounding areas
Route: home daily
Tractor type: straight truck
Equipment: pallet jack, stair walkers, forklifts
Freight: touch - medical supplies
TWIC card preferred, but not required – reimbursement provided

Requirements
Minimum age 21
Pass Ryder drug test
Pass background and motor vehicle check (three years)
Pass DOT physical
Pass Ryder road test
Provide Class A or Class B CDL and endorsements
Experience: 9 months within past 3 years, OR 2 years within last 5 years, OR 5 years within last 10 years
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer
Perform other duties as assigned
