Opportunity
Position:

Student Champion – Innovator, Process Improvement Coordinator, and Community Partner.

As a Student Champion you will:

Teach, mentor, and advise students in the college community.

Develop partnerships with community agencies and social services to identify recruitment opportunities.

Advocate for student experience in planning and execution of services.

Drive process improvement initiatives and collaborate across departments.

Qualifications
Education:

Associate’s degree from an accredited college. Four (4) years of directly related experience may be substituted for degree requirements.

Experience:

Two (2) years of relevant experience in admissions, testing, recruitment, retention, counseling, or other related student service activities.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to establish and maintain relationships with community agencies and social services.

Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Self‑starter and problem‑solving mindset.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and excellent time management.

Knowledge of the greater Houston area and familiarity with local service‑area school districts, universities, and colleges is preferred.
