
Apprentice Lineworker

Overview
We're seeking a motivated Apprentice Lineworker to join our team and help deliver safe, reliable electric service to our community. Based in our Lewis County office, responsibilities include assisting and learning from experienced lineworkers in construction, replacement, and maintenance of electric distribution lines. Climbing poles, working at heights and performing physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions will be required.
Responsibilities
Assist and learn from experienced lineworkers in construction, replacement, and maintenance of electric distribution lines.
Climb poles, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
Completion of an approved lineworker apprenticeship program paid for by the cooperative is mandatory.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience with basic electricity, heights, and working outdoors is desirable.
Must be able to obtain a Class A CDL within six months of hire.
Must be willing to reside in the Lewis County service area or the MLEC service area.
