Summary
As a Climbing Instructor, you’ll play a key role in cultivating a fun, inclusive, and motivating environment for climbers of all levels. You’ll provide private and/or group instruction, helping members and guests achieve their goals while strengthening the Central Rock Gym community experience.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging private climbing sessions tailored to participant goals and ability levels.

Coordinate class schedules and logistics with gym management.

Manage private session bookings through CRG’s booking platform, Rock Gym Pro.

Partner with management to promote offerings through CRG’s website, social media, and in-gym outreach—while actively self-promoting to grow participation.

Foster an inclusive, positive, and community-oriented atmosphere in every session.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment before and after each class.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.

3+ years of climbing experience with some prior teaching or coaching experience.

Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Friendly, approachable, and motivated to help others succeed.

Knowledge of modern climbing instruction methods and techniques.

Ability to work independently and take initiative in building a client base.

CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred but not required.
