Responsibilities
Familiarizes with service standards for the restaurant, especially table setups, beverage service and pre-busing of tables.
Monitors and ensures cleanliness of all place settings, tabletops, seats, and floor.
Leaves money or guest checks on tables.
Performs customer service duties as assigned (such as beverage and plate service).
Communicates with host/hostess for seating needs and any guest service issues.
Cleans and resets tables in accordance with established procedures and sanitation guidelines.
Performs various stock supply duties to maintain par levels of all equipment and dining supplies.
Restocks and maintains all food and beverage items, products, and supplies.
Provides outstanding customer and employee service at all times.
Complies with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls and government rules and regulations.
Performs all duties in a safe and careful manner.
Assists Food Servers as necessary.
Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.
Must always present a neat and clean appearance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Must be at least 21 years old, possess a high school or equivalent diploma, and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to California regulations.
One (1) year related culinary / food service work preferred.
Must be sanitation certified.
Must acquire a certification of Serv Safe or a State recognized Food safety program
Must be licensed to serve alcohol
Must be able to read, speak and write English
