Architectural Intern - Entry Level/Seasonal
We are looking for talented and motivated Architectural Interns. Candidates will have the opportunity to efficiently and effectively participate, design and deliver successful building projects according to the latest design philosophy, approach, processes and technology. Involvement within project teams from schematic design through construction on projects, reviewing shop drawings and related submittals, coordinating consultants in all phases and directing the production of the projects are also part of the internship experience.
Responsibilities
Pick up red-lines and revise comments from other peer teams following directions.
Build a model floor plan designed by the collaborative Design Team.
Learn the process and procedures for coordination with Structural, Civil, and MEP Consultants instructed by PM.
Learn building construction through guidance to draft wall sections and plan details.
Consultant coordination after receiving consultant procedure training.
Qualifications
Current participation as a 3rd or 4th‑year architectural student at an accredited university working towards a Master’s Degree or equivalent.
Proficient in Revit and Microsoft Office.
Excellent organizational and multi‑tasking skills; able to work effectively in a team atmosphere and meet deadlines.
Self‑motivated, strong work ethic, and personally driven to consistently meet project design and performance goals.
Ability to work independently as well as with various disciplines and types of people; committed to being an effective, contributing team player.
Detail oriented and capable of performing essential duties satisfactorily.
