
Journeyman Engineer

Responsibilities
Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for a Journeyman Engineer to support the Airborne Electronic Attack Systems Program Office (PMA-234) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. PMA-234 is responsible for acquiring, delivering, and sustaining Airborne Electronic Attack systems and providing combatant commanders with Electronic Warfare capabilities that critically enable operational mission success. The candidate will support the PMA-234 Advanced Development Team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Participates as a member of and/or supports the specified program or project team.
Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.
Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
Applies systems engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems.
Location is on-site only. This position is not eligible for telework.
Travel requirements are 10% CONUS only.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university
At least three (3) years of recent and relevant experience in a position related to the labor category description is required. Demonstrated experience in an area of engineering expertise is required.
Active Top Secret required; TS/SCI eligibility a plus. Will require SAP.
Must be a US Citizen
Compensation Statement
At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms. The general salary range for this position is as follows: $130,577.00 - $144,991.00
