Job Overview
Full‑time theology teacher for the 2026‑27 school year. Must hold a Nebraska teaching license or be in the process of obtaining one. Experience in special education and willingness to coach or sponsor school activities is preferred. The school is a Catholic high school with approximately 1,100 students.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver theology instruction to grades 9‑12.
Integrate Catholic values into all aspects of teaching.
Engage students in faith‑based learning and moral development.
Assist with extracurricular activities, including coaching of sports and sponsorship of student events.
Qualifications
Valid Nebraska teaching certificate in education (or actively pursuing one).
Teaching experience, preferably with students in a Catholic or faith‑based setting.
Background check required (Diocesan background check will be conducted).
Demonstrated moral character and integrity.
Willingness to coach or sponsor extracurricular activities such as baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, dance team, drama, football, golf, journalism, National Honor Society, one‑act play, soccer, softball, speech, student council, swimming, tennis, track, volleyball, wrestling.
