Physical Requirements
The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting, standing, walking, with some pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 50lbs.
Job Summary
Th RN within the Comprehensive Vascular & Wound Care Clinic will utilize evidence-based practices to provide wound care treatments, including selecting appropriate dressings and therapeutic techniques to promote healing and reduce complications. Additionally, the RN will provide patient education, ensuring all parties know the best practices in wound management and prevention strategies.
The Nurse Clinical Ambulatory provides disease-specific patient care to patients with serious acute and/or chronic health events or seeking healthcare to maintain their wellness. The position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, skilled assessments, care plans and care plan implementation, patient education, and clinical evaluation or interventions. This position requires working with medical professionals under time and efficiency constraints in a busy ambulatory care setting with a patient-centered care focus on quality, safety, and service. A working knowledge of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures is needed to be successful.

Basic computer knowledge, MS Windows, Word, Outlook, EPIC.

Preferred Education / Experience
BSN preferred with at least 1-2 years of wound care clinical experience; WOC certification highly preferred.
