MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome all customers, set expectations with customers
Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses
Act as a leader in optical acumen
Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs
Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions
Accurately and thoroughly use technology despite time pressure and customer volume, demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and use appropriate tools
Proactively explore root cause of issues, forward‑think, ensure customers are satisfied and expectations exceeded, solution‑driven
Ability to multi‑task, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities
Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies
Take pride in store appearance, help keep store clean, attractive and organized
Inform management of safety opportunities; demonstrate safe work practices
Resourceful, self‑motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement and results
Adhere to company policies & procedures, including discounts, promotions & inventory management
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
High School graduate or equivalent
State licensure
Optical dispensing experience
Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener and team builder
Knowledge of current store merchandise
Strong basic math skills
Aware of current fashion trends
Strong selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet
Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators
Embrace new technology and change
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a busy retail environment
Knowledge of advanced lens technologies
Previous use of customer relationship management tools
PAY RANGE
$27.60 – $39.02 per hour (pay determined by geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements; may include bonus or commission).
