Responsibilities
The role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of the company’s leased real estate portfolio.
Track expiration and notice dates in lease portfolio; submit reports to supervisor
Abstract all lease documents into the CoStar system – lease and financial data
Reconcile invoices for leases; process rent export; establish rent vendors in Oracle
Establish and terminate third party utility accounts; work with AP to maintain payments
Procure corporate housing leases when required; establish lease and payments
Resolve property incidents that may occur on leased premises; work with landlords
Direct contact for subtenants; work with Subsidy Contract team to track subleases
Process certificate of insurance requests for leased properties and provide to landlords
Retrieve security deposits from landlords upon terminations; report to Accounting
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Real Estate, Finance, or Accounting.
Knowledge of commercial lease language, abstraction, and financial skills for rent reconciliations.
Previous experience with commercial leases.
Real Estate background preferred.
Understand commercial lease language, relevant real estate market data, and financial components of lease agreements.
Software:
MS Office (Excel, Power Point)
