About the Role
Service Technician
– Install and repair propane tanks for residential and commercial customers at the Brooksville, FL location. Works with AmeriGas Propane, Inc., the nation's largest propane distributor, delivering exceptional safety and customer service.
Location
Brooksville, FL, 34601, onsite.
Compensation
Pay range: $24.27 – $24.27 per hour, based on skills, qualifications, experience, and market data. Eligible for performance‑based bonus or commissions on sales.

Responsibilities
As a local Service Technician, you will:
Safely operate a propane service vehicle with lift gate and boom along assigned service routes
Perform repairs on existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customers
Install new propane tanks/systems for commercial and residential customers
On an as‑needed basis, perform Delivery Representative functions, such as delivering bulk or canister propane
Maintain daily tasks safely, adhering to federal and state codes, AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
Consistently use required Personal Protective Equipment
Work 8 to 12‑hour shifts as needed
Requirements
Valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
Acceptable driving record
DOT physical, drug test and background check completion
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 70lbs
Preferred Experience
HVAC
Plumbing
Maintenance or Mechanical Experience
