Assembler I – 2nd Shift (Fort Worth, TX)

Hourly Rate: $17.50 – $21.00 + 5% Shift Differential

Responsibilities

Processing and scanning in‑ and out‑work orders using computers and scanning devices in accordance with the production schedule or expedited orders.

Reading and interpreting documents associated with mechanical assembly assignments (blueprints, bill of materials, one‑line diagrams, etc.).

Collecting parts and accessories and assembling fabricated parts into unit assemblies (Low Voltage Switchgear, Switchboards, and Power Panels) or subassemblies using hand and power tools, wire strippers, pliers, and crimpers.

Preparing finished units for shipping (packing, sealing, labeling, etc.).

Securing component parts on frames, subassemblies, or unit assemblies while verifying that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.

Disassembling units to adjust or replace parts, connect cables and basic wires, marking units with identifying information or tags, and reporting non‑conforming items.

Performing other work as advised by supervision.

Basic Qualifications

Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools.

Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehending the English language.

Ability to make coordinated movements of hands and arms to grasp and move objects, stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb.

Reach, grasp, lift 75 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material as needed.

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Assembly/wiring experience.

The pay range for this position is $17.50 – $21.00 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
