Rate of pay: $25.00 per hour
Start: Mid May – 12 weeks duration (approximate)
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to support our accounting and finance team. This position provides hands‑on exposure to core accounting functions and offers practical experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger support. The internship is designed to provide meaningful professional development for students pursuing a career in accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with monthly account reconciliations and journal entry preparation
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Help maintain and organize financial records and supporting documentation
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal reports
Support audit preparation and compliance documentation as needed
Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
Completion of some college-level coursework in accounting or finance
Actively pursuing a degree with a major in Accounting
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Preferred (but not required)
Completion of Intermediate Accounting I
Prior internship or relevant work experience
Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems
