Position Overview
The Licensed Massage Therapist provides customized therapeutic treatments that support guest relaxation, recovery, and overall wellbeing while delivering exceptional service in a calm, professional, and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Take notes regarding each client’s medical history and ensure appropriate precautions are taken so conditions are not aggravated
Perform personalized therapeutic massage treatments based on guest needs and preferences
Provide clients with knowledge of available massage types and recommend appropriate therapies
Explain massage procedures and provide information about oils and creams used
Perform massage techniques according to each client’s instructions, including pressure and product preferences
Communicate with clients during treatments, as appropriate, to ensure comfort and wellbeing
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and tranquil treatment environment
Uphold standards of hygiene and sterilization in accordance with state law and spa policies
Provide attentive, high‑level guest service throughout the full experience
Collaborate with spa team members to support a seamless guest journey
Maintain a constructive attitude and contribute to a positive, quality work environment
Manage scheduling and maintain organized treatment records
Qualifications
Current Texas Massage Therapy License required
Minimum 500 training hours, including at least 1 year of licensed, hands‑on experience
Proficiency in therapeutic and body massage techniques
Experience with specialty modalities such as Shiatsu or stress management preferred
Outstanding communication and listening skills
Ability to build relationships with guests
Ability to promote products and services
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong interpersonal skills and professional presence
