Pay Range: $47.50 – $73.65/hr ($98,800 – $153,200 annually)
Requirements to Apply
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Active Connecticut RN license or multistate compact RN license eligible to practice in Connecticut
Current BLS certification
3–5 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute hospital or acute long‑term care setting
2+ years of leadership experience as Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or similar role
Strong background in staffing, scheduling, team leadership, and daily unit operations
Preferred
Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Specialty nursing certification
Experience with workforce management systems such as Workday

Job Overview
This Assistant Nurse Manager opportunity offers a leadership role supporting a satellite campus during evening and overnight operations. Working closely with the Director of Satellite Operations, you’ll help oversee daily unit performance, staffing, scheduling, onboarding, employee engagement, and clinical operations while serving as a key resource for frontline nursing teams.
This leader helps maintain patient care standards, supports education and competency development, drives quality initiatives, and provides leadership presence during off‑shift hours when executive leadership may be offsite. Ideal for an experienced RN ready to expand leadership impact while remaining connected to operations, staff support, and patient care delivery.
Schedule
Flexible schedule between 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Option for 5 x 8‑hour shifts or 4 x 10‑hour shifts
Some evening coverage needed, with primary focus on nights
Occasional weekends/holidays based on operational needs
