BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Certified Home Health Aide, CHHA, for a full‑time opportunity to complete hospice visits to clients located throughout Atlantic and Cape May counties. As a Home Health Aide, you will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary health care team that provides home health aide, nursing and palliative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.
BAYADA offers flexible schedules, a 1:1 patient ratio, and a comprehensive benefits package. Must have access to reliable transportation.
Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation: $20-22.50 per hour.

A Home Health Aide must:
Have at least one year of work experience.
Must be listed on the NJ Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.
Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination.
Meet all state requirements.

Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aides / CNA – Certified Nurse Aide:
Activities of daily living.
Light housekeeping.
Bathing.
Grooming.
Toileting.
Nail care.
Range of motion / exercises.
Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices.
Oral feeding.
Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration.
Home management tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making, etc.
Assisting with ambulation.
Medication assistance.
