hiring a Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist II for the Cardiac Cath Lab. This is a Full Time, Day shift in Harrisonburg, VA!
Hours : Four 10-hour shifts, 7am to 5:30pm with Required Call.
Call : Rotating every 4th weekend and 1 day during the week from 5pm to 7am.
Sign on bonus up to $15,000 available for qualified candidates

is comprised of cardiologists, electrophysiologists, vascular surgeons, cardiothoracic surgeons, and interventional cardiologists who’ve received their education and training at some of the finest medical schools in the nation. They are committed to providing high quality heart and vascular services to our community.
Role Description
The
Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist II
performs complex invasive interventional procedures such as diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician while adhering to interventional and procedural policies and protocols: provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply of inventory for performing examinations; participates in departmental performance improvement activities.
Education
Trade School Graduate required
Certification/Licensure
BLS required
ACLS within 90 days of hire
One of the following Certifications required: ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) - American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), ARRT Radiography (R), ARRT Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
Experience
1 year of experience preferred
Invasive procedure experience
Cath lab experience preferred
Diagnostics and Structural heart experience preferred
