We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietician (RD) to join our team at AdviniaCare Orchard View in Riverside, RI. As a key member of our Interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents by ensuring their dietary needs are met and exceeded.

Job Summary
As a Registered Dietician (RD) at AdviniaCare Orchard View, you will be responsible for monitoring weight loss, providing education to family and residents, and auditing the kitchen and dietary department for quality and adherence to state and federal guidelines. You will also track and tend resident data, create meal plans, assist with menu planning, and attend QAPI meetings.

Responsibilities

Monitor weight loss and develop effective meal plans to support resident goals

Provide education to family and residents on nutrition and meal planning

Audit the kitchen and dietary department for quality and adherence to state and federal guidelines

Track and tend resident data to ensure accurate and timely documentation

Create meal plans and assist with menu planning process

Attend QAPI meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field (n/a)

Experience: 2 minimum years of experience in long-term care setting

Certifications/Licenses: Registered Dietician (RD)

Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Additional Requirements: Long-term care experience; ability to monitor weight loss; part of the Interdisciplinary team; provides education to family and residents; audits kitchen and dietary department for quality and adherence to state and federal guidelines; tracks and tends resident data; creates meal plans; assists with menu planning process; attends QAPI meetings
