Andrology Lab Tech
to join our team at
Shady Grove Fertility
in
Fairfax, Virginia .
Schedule:
Every other Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM
This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day.

In this role, the
Andrology Lab Tech
will:
Shipping, receiving, and disposition of frozen samples
Ordering and receiving lab supplies
Examine and process specimens for routine semen analysis
Perform counts for concentration and motility, perform histological techniques for identifying leukocytes, immature germ cells, and morphology
Process semen for ART procedures and intrauterine inseminations (IUIs)
Assure proper sample collection, delivery and identification (chain of custody)
Perform daily/monthly quality control procedures for media and equipment used in the Andrology laboratory
Assist laboratory personnel in performing lab services in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws and guidelines to ensure laboratory maintains accreditation
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experience—individuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter.
Qualifications and Skills Include:
Minimum of one year laboratory experience
Experience with a chemistry analyzer strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in biology science or related field or MLT ASCP certification equivalent
Tissue culture experience and/or semen processing a plus
