School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

to provide

pediatric occupational therapy services

to students in Danville, Vermont. This is a full‑time (5 days/week) position in a collaborative school / special education setting.

Pay Rate:

$38–$50/hour (based on experience)

Occupational Therapist (OT) Responsibilities

Provide

school‑based occupational therapy services

to students

Conduct

occupational therapy evaluations and re‑evaluations

Develop and implement

Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and services

Deliver

direct therapy services

(individual and small group sessions)

Support students with:

Fine motor skills and handwriting

Sensory processing and sensory integration

Executive functioning and organization

Activities of daily living (ADLs) and classroom participation

Collaborate with

teachers, special education staff, speech‑language pathologists (SLPs), and physical therapists (PTs)

Recommend and implement

classroom accommodations, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology

Participate in

IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Maintain accurate

documentation, progress notes, and compliance records

Communicate effectively with

families and caregivers

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in

Occupational Therapy

Active

Vermont Occupational Therapist license

(or eligibility)

Experience or interest in

pediatrics, school‑based therapy, or special education

preferred

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
