credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT)

to join our Urgent Care team in West St. Paul, MN. This role is perfect for technicians who love emergency medicine, the variety of exotic animal medicine, and have an interest or experience in advanced imaging. About Us
Southview Animal Hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for a wide range of species. Our services include wellness care, urgent care, emergency support, advanced imaging, surgery, and specialized procedures. We may be performing a CT on a marsupial or sedating a pocket pet to keep them fear free for their exam. We love to teach!

What You’ll Do

Be a Hero: Support urgent care cases, including triage, stabilization, and treatment

Steady Hands: Monitor anesthesia and sedation for urgent and advanced procedures

Advance Care: Assist with advanced imaging services (CT, radiography, and other diagnostics)

Team Up: Collaborate with our skilled veterinarians and compassionate team members in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Make a Difference: Educate pet owners on diagnostics, treatment plans, and ongoing care

Stay Calm: Manage multiple cases efficiently in a fast‑paced urgent care setting

What We’re Looking For

Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT required)

Graduate of an AVMA‑accredited veterinary technician program

1+ year of experience in veterinary medicine (urgent care or emergency preferred)

Advanced imaging experience strongly preferred

Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Fear Free Certified a plus

RECOVER BLS/ALS certified a plus

Pay range: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour, based on experience and credentials

Flexible start times between 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Shifts ending at 10:00 PM with no overnight shifts
