Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Med Tech to join our team and provide exceptional care to our residents. As a Caregiver/Med Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of individuals under our care while also managing and administering medication in compliance with prescribed healthcare plans.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with daily living activities with bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, providing companionship and emotional support.
Monitor and document residents’ health and behavior and report any significant changes to healthcare professionals.
Administer prescribed medications to residents, ensuring accurate dosages and timely delivery.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all administered medications and resident interactions.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and evaluate personalized care plans.
Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and safe living environment for all residents.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay informed of best practices.
Qualifications
Certification in caregiving (CNA) or medical technology (Med Tech) is a plus.
Previous experience in a caregiving or medical technician role is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with residents.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards of care.
