Immediate Sales Admin/Customer Service Representative
Location:

Bethpage, NY (on site only).

Employment type:

Full time (Contract to Hire).

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8 AM‑5 PM.

Pay:

$23–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

2 years of customer service experience

Experience managing customer orders/processing orders

Experience working in ERP/MRP system

Microsoft Excel proficient

Responsibilities
Managing multiple customers with the objective of selling distribution material, performing RFQ follow‑up through consultation of KPIs, in line with the objectives assigned by the Vice President of Sales. Delivering the best service possible to the assigned customer portfolio at every stage of the order.

Manage requests for quotations (RFQ) by analyzing requirements and verifying the availability of stock, potential purchasing contracts and prior requests.

Prepare the offer based on the best supply source.

Perform RFQ follow‑up activities such as dealing with emails, making calls, videoconferences, and visits.

Build a sustainable relationship with the customer, providing information about product and orders/contracts, explaining complex technical information.

Proactively handle customers' complaints and ensure resolution by communicating with Manager and other departments (Quality & Compliance, Finance, Operations, etc.).

Monitor and manage, daily, the assigned targets/KPIs (Sales, Margin, Bookings, OTIF %, Order Book, etc.) through BI to OL (i.e., Qlik) and implement corrective actions.

Undertake other duties as directed to support company operations.
