Position Information
We are seeking a human resources intern who, under supervision, performs routine and some specialized human resources duties while supporting daily HR operations. This role provides hands‑on experience in pre‑employment processes, employee support, and HR systems, along with opportunities to contribute to projects and initiatives across multiple HR functions.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and some specialized human resources duties in support of the HR team.

Conduct background checks and ensure timely completion of pre‑employment screening requirements.

Perform degree and verification checks for candidates.

Answer and direct incoming phone calls, providing professional assistance to employees and candidates.

Assist in preparing human resources reports and maintaining accurate records.

Under supervision, review and process actions in the HRIS or related systems.

Assist in researching and completing various HR projects, including process improvements, reporting, and data tracking.

May cross‑train in specialized HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, payroll, performance management, and other HR disciplines.

Attend HR trainings and informational meetings.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Customer service mindset with a willingness to assist others.

Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Duration
May 11th – August 21st, up to 40 hours per week.
