$135,000 – $145,000 + Full Benefits

Why This Role Matters
We are seeking a

highly skilled GIS Application Developer

to design and build advanced geospatial solutions supporting

federal intelligence operations .

This is not a basic GIS role-you will be working at the intersection of:

Geospatial intelligence (GEOINT)

Custom application development

Enterprise GIS architecture

Your work will directly support

real-world mission outcomes , enabling faster, smarter, and more accurate decision-making.

What You'll Be Doing

Designing and developing

custom GIS applications

within ArcGIS Enterprise

Building advanced

web-based geospatial tools and dashboards

Automating workflows using

Python and ArcGIS scripting

Integrating GIS platforms with

enterprise systems via REST APIs

Developing

custom widgets, tools, and extensions

Supporting

ArcGIS Enterprise Portal administration and optimization

Troubleshooting complex geospatial and system integration issues

Collaborating with analysts, engineers, and mission stakeholders

Core Responsibilities
GIS Application Development

Develop custom applications using:

ArcGIS API for JavaScript

ArcGIS Enterprise SDK

Build user-focused tools for:

Data visualization

Spatial analysis

Operational workflows

Automation & Backend Development

Use

Python

to:

Automate Portal workflows

Streamline data processing

Enhance system performance

Enterprise Integration

Design and implement integrations using:

REST APIs

Enterprise data sources

Ensure seamless communication across systems

Portal Administration & Optimization

Manage and optimize

ArcGIS Enterprise Portal

Maintain performance, scalability, and security

Troubleshooting & Innovation

Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues

Develop custom solutions and enhancements

Continuously improve system capabilities

Required Qualifications
Clearance & Eligibility

U.S. Citizen (Required)

Active

TS clearance with SCI eligibility

In-scope

SSBI / T5 investigation

Enrolled in

DoD Continuous Evaluation (CE/CV)

Meets

DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF)

Experience

5-7 years

supporting GIS applications within:

Federal Government

Intelligence Community

5+ years

hands-on experience with:

ESRI / ArcGIS platforms

Technical Skills

ArcGIS Enterprise Portal (Admin + Development)

Python (expert-level for automation and scripting)

ArcGIS API for JavaScript

REST API integration

Web development:

HTML

CSS

JavaScript

Version control (Git)

Advanced Capabilities

Custom tool and widget development

ArcGIS Enterprise SDK experience

Troubleshooting complex GIS and Portal issues

Education

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
