Occupational Therapist – Full Time
Channel Islands Post Acute, Santa Barbara, CA, is seeking a dedicated Full Time Occupational Therapist to join our in‑house therapy team. We offer competitive compensation and a supportive workplace.
Pay: $55–$63 per hour based on experience.
Responsibilities
Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL disorders and develop appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical standards.
Utilize standardized assessments and evidence‑based practice to support clinical interventions.
Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment to patients with cognitive and/or ADL disorders per regulatory requirements.
Administer procedures such as ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and use of devices.
Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record.
Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness, modify services based on the evaluation, and refer when appropriate.
Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.
Communicate with supervisors and other health‑team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
Deliver comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided per regulations.
Qualifications
Licensed Occupational Therapist.
