Responsibilities
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) supports patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The CNA is expected to practice medical asepsis, respect the dignity and privacy of patients and maintain objectivity during patient care. The CNA is expected to use accurate verbal and written communication, adhere to hospital safety policies and procedures and document patient care all within the scope of training. A CNA maintains a safe and clean environment and keeps supplies stocked. Upon request, a CNA will assist with orientation of new staff including, but not limited to, nursing assistants.

Qualifications
State of Wisconsin certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Currently CPR certified or eligible for certification
Must be available the first week of employment from 8AM - 4:30PM for CNA orientation.
