Maintenance Technician
– Conroe, TX – Permanent contract
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to support our chemical plant operations.
Responsibilities
Maintain equipmentfor the blending, bottling, warehousing and ongoing construction of achemical esterification plant with a startup of 2026.
Inspect,service, repair, and conduct predefined preventative maintenance forvarious plant equipment, including pumps, compressors, air dryers, valves,and rotating machinery.
Assist with theinstallation and maintenance of various types of bearings, mechanicalseals, and other sealing components.
Service storagetanks, vessels, cooling towers, steam heating systems, and high-pressuresystems, ensuring they are functioning properly and safety compliant.
Apply machiningand welding techniques to fabricate, modify, and repair parts as needed.
Navigate SAPmaintenance workflows for work orders, notifications, and documentation.
Providetechnical support during HSE audits and ensure proper documentation of allrequired maintenance paperwork.
Independentlytroubleshoot mechanical issues and develop practical solutions withminimal supervision.
Follow allsafety procedures and protocols; actively contribute to a safety-firstculture throughout the company.
You’ll succeed if:
Minimum 3 yearsof experience in industrial maintenance within a chemical, petrochemical,or process manufacturing environment.
Hands-onexperience with bottling lines or similar high-speed automated productionsystems.
Ability to readand interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and schematics
Strongknowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety standards.
Excellenttroubleshooting skills and the ability to work in high-pressureenvironments to resolve issues quickly.
Strongcommunication and collaboration skills, with the ability to workcross-functionally with production, maintenance, and engineering teams.
Physically ableto lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in varied environments.
Associatedegree in Industrial Maintenance or High SchoolDiploma and a combination of relevant work experience.
Experience inchemical manufacturing environment.
Familiaritywith automation and process control systems specific to bottling andpackaging operations.
Understanding of basic welding principles
