Summary
As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will safeguard company assets and minimize theft through surveillance, monitoring, and intervention. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will use CCTV monitoring, write incident reports, and work closely with local law enforcement.
Responsibilities
Monitor and review security camera feeds for potential shoplifters.
Confront and stop shoplifters in a professional manner.
Document detailed incident reports for each shoplifting event.
Testify in court regarding shoplifting incidents.
Provide exemplary customer service and communicate effectively with staff and customers.
Network with local law enforcement to deter and apprehend shoplifters.
Qualifications
Must pass a pre‑employment criminal background check and drug screen.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 1 year of security experience and 1 year of customer service experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
All security and customer service experience should be listed on your résumé.
Education Requirements

Certification Requirements
Valid driver’s license.
