Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Pay Direct Care Worker to join our team. As a Private Pay Direct Care Worker, you will provide personal care and companionship to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. This is a part-time opportunity that requires flexibility and a strong sense of compassion.
Responsibilities
Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients, such as conversation, playing games, and watching movies
Assist with light housekeeping, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing
Help with hygiene tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Accompany clients on errands and appointments
Prepare meals and snacks for clients
Remind clients of medication schedules and assist with medication management
Requirements
0 years of experience as a Direct Care Worker (training provided)
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment
Clients' homes, with occasional visits to our office for training and support
