Our client, an industry leader in steel manufacturing and distribution, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the operations department supporting the logistics and inventory management teams.

Pay:
$19 per hour
Shift:
6am-2:30pm
Job Description
Operate forklifts to lift, move, position, and restock steel products, including materials up to 50' in length and weighing several tons.
Load and unload flatbed trailers, trailers, and rail cars, ensuring materials are secure and properly stacked.
Log, tag, and organize steel inventory such as hot/cold-rolled, stainless, and aluminum in accordance with company procedures.
Perform daily pre-operational inspections on forklifts and cranes to ensure safety and proper functioning, reporting any damages or needed repairs.
Qualifications
Previous experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures.
Good organizational skills for inventory management.
Reliable work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
