Position Summary
Assist with all tax reporting and compliance functions. Maintain all tax department files (electronic and hard copy) and assist in the completion of various tax returns. Provide administrative and project support to the tax department.
Essential Job Functions
Maintaining department files and filing system, both electronic and hard copy
Assemble tax returns and administrative tasks associated with filing tax returns such as:
Copying/scanning
Coordinating signatures
Certified mail
Responsible for receiving, cataloging, and distributing mail to the tax team
Assist Senior Tax Director with managing tax department vendors including invoicing and budgeting
Assist in preparation of basic tax forms
Provide general administrative assistance to 6-person tax department
Coordinate ordering of office supplies
Create, edit, and format .pdf and DocuSign files
Other duties as assigned

Proficient with filing systems dealing with sensitive/confidential materials
Detail-oriented, accurate and organized
Works with a sense of urgency
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
Effectively manages deadlines with grace under pressure
Strong computer skills, including being proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Team focused
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (particularly Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) and zoom, proficiency
Education/Experience
Must have three-plus years previous administrative/para-professional experience
Experience in an accounting firm’s tax department or corporate tax department preferred
Work Schedule / Conditions
40-hour work week working weekdays during normal business hours.
