KippsDeSanto is focused on providing comprehensive investment banking services – primarily M&A, private financing, and strategic advisory – to middle market aerospace, defense, government services and enterprise technology companies.
Our analysts perform critical functions throughout the entire transaction process, from preparing clients for the market, engaging with potential buyers, facilitating due diligence, and ultimately closing the deal. The position offers substantial opportunities to gain financial and technical expertise, professional development, and upward mobility, while taking on a substantial amount of responsibility in transaction execution, client management, and new business development.
Responsibilities
Preparing, analyzing, and explaining historical and projected financial information
Assisting in the preparation of financial models and business valuations
Conducting industry and company-specific due diligence
Creating client marketing presentations, memoranda, and deliverables
Attending client meetings
Drafting and collaborating on pitch presentations and associated materials
Developing an understanding of the underlying trends that affect the Aerospace, Defense, and Government Technology industries
Coordinating, researching, and creating industry and market research publications
Assisting in the development and continued cultivation of client, prospect, and professional advisor relationships
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or military experience
At least 1 year of investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business management, or economics
FINRA Licenses – 63, 79, SIE
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long term incentives (LTI).
Minimum and maximum yearly salaries for this role range from $110,000 to $130,000 in McLean, VA.
