Qualifications
Two (2) years experience operating traditional woodworking equipment, including saws, planers, joiners, drill presses, and routers
Ability to read mechanical drawings or blueprints and follow detailed written instructions
Capable of reading a ruler or tape measure to 1/64”
Perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) involving fractions and decimals
Lift up to 50 lbs continuously, heavier amounts on occasion
Successful applicants will be able to pass a medical evaluation for respirator use
Responsibilities
Loading/unloading lumber, plywood and other wood products into industrial machinery
Measure and mix glue, adhesives, and other chemicals
Perform sanding, painting, and finishing of wood components
Spray and dip finishes such as paints, stains, and lacquers
Assemble parts using nails, screws, nuts, and bolts
Package and palletize product
Perform basic housekeeping in the shop
Maintain courteous, professional and ethical behavior at all times
Must be able to lift up to 50‑lbs continuously, stand for long periods, and work around industrial machinery
Job Details
Full Time, 40 hr/week, 4x10 shift, 30‑60 day probationary period
Benefit Conditions
Waiting period up to 90 days
