Treasury Analyst (Contractor)
as part of the
Finance
team based in
Bridgewater, NJ .
Role Overview: Performing in a fast-paced environment, the Treasury Analyst will be a key member of Legend's Treasury organization. This role will have unique exposure to various levels of the business through participation in cash management, forecasting, reporting, and improvement initiatives. This is a contract role of 9+ months duration.
Responsibilities
Preparation of cash forecasts, intercompany funding and FX position projections.
Reviewing and supporting liquidity optimization and FX management.
Preparing management reporting: actual performance, cash management targets, quarterly forecasting, monthly CFO reporting and long-range planning.
Working closely with Treasury leadership to prepare executive level presentations providing insightful analysis for key stakeholders.
Support opening/closing of bank accounts and bank account mandates.
Administer online banking systems.
Participating in the vendor onboarding compliance process.
Administering and supporting the corporate card and travel accounts.
Participate in internal and external audit reviews, information requests and process walkthroughs as needed.
Developing and implementing methods and strategies to continually improve processes and enhance controls.
Support month-end close activities as needed.
Ad hoc responsibilities and projects as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required; a major in Accounting or Finance preferred.
Professional certifications/membership (ACT/IACT).
Professional certification (CFA/CMA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred.
MBA or Advanced Degrees preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of progressive Treasury experience.
Experience in a global environment.
Prior life sciences industry experience is preferred.
Knowledge of SOX financial controls on Accounting and Reporting processes is preferred.
Ability to partner and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively and escalate issues appropriately.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Complex modeling, forecasting and valuation capabilities with focus on tracking key assumptions.
High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel & PowerPoint) required; excellent data management and reporting skills required.
High proficiency with business reporting and analysis tools (Anaplan or OneStream preferred).
Knowledge of common business and financial drivers and deep-dive analysis.
Experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management.
Experience in ERP systems (SAP, etc) strongly preferred.
