Junior Financial Analyst Intern - PT
This role focuses on financial planning, forecasting, and project-based analysis while providing hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment. The Junior Financial Analyst will support data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting efforts, working cross‑functionally to help drive insights and improve decision‑making. This is an excellent opportunity to develop practical finance skills and gain exposure to corporate finance and FP&A operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial data to support planning and forecasting activities
Support financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Perform project‑based financial analysis, including ROI analysis, cost analysis, and performance tracking
Analyze variances and identify trends across financial data and reporting outputs
Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for leadership review
Support scenario modeling and strategic planning initiatives
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and profitability
Maintain and update financial data, models, and reporting tools
Collaborate cross‑functionally to support business initiatives and data‑driven decision‑making
Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or currently in progress)
0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or analytics (internship experience acceptable)
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
Basic understanding of financial statements and financial conceptsStrong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Exposure to financial modeling, forecasting, or data analysis
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Interest in FP&A or corporate finance
Comfort working with AI tools or prompting for analysis and efficiency
