ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties may be assigned.
Safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection, must be always worn.
Assists others in loading and unloading of trucks using fork trucks and/or hoists.
Cleans grease and dirt from product and removes all welding berries before painting.
Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray.
Pulls trigger and directs spray onto work surface to clean product.
Lifts, and/or turns parts to wash/clean evenly on all surfaces.
Places appropriately rated horses under product before working or walking underneath. Records daily quantities of all products used.
Cleans spraying equipment, brushes, and work areas at the end of each shift.
Removes rust from metal with wire brush, or steel wool.
Monitors and checks PH levels are 3.0-3.5.
Titrate the system each Monday.
Check water level in phosphate tanks, never walk away while it is filling for risk of over filling.
Check phosphate drum everyday.
Check over equipment /do visual checks for any leaks or problems for every shift.
PH adjust target = 4.5-4.0 or if low add half bottle of H7212 into 400 gal solin tanks.
Every 2 weeks: change filters, clean tanks, add clean water and chemicals.
Cross train in Paint Prep and Glue.
