Maintenance Technician – Leidos, Colorado Manufacturing Facility
Maintenance Technician
– We are seeking a skilled professional to support a standalone manufacturing facility performing work on a hypersonic weapon system.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on all production equipment and support equipment
Troubleshoot to diagnose problems and repair production equipment
Update maintenance logs
Follow all safety policies and procedures strictly
Undertake precision alignments and other tests associated with installation, qualification, and/or calibration of equipment and machinery
Provide feedback for continuous improvement of equipment and facilities
Source and order required repair parts, supplies, and services
Ensure equipment is in a safe working condition or utilize LOTO program
Maintain prompt and regular attendance
Perform limited carpentry, painting and electrical duties
May be assigned tasks outside the scope of this job description
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of hands‑on repair of electrical and mechanical systems on machinery
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Complete understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides
Experience with FANUC and controls
Experience with diagnostic/specialty tools used in troubleshooting and repair of machinery
Demonstrated aptitude for industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical repair
Experience troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
Self‑starter with the ability to work unsupervised
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Advanced written and verbal communication skills; must be able to speak/read/write English
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in FANUC controls
Electrical AC/DC practical knowledge and safety standards
Knowledge of calibrating and machine positioning using dial gauge or other measuring device
