We are a well-funded start-up building IT rackable equipment for Data Centers, using synthetic DNA as the storage media. While this technology is still at its infancy, these DNA Data Storage Servers target the storage of massive amount of data (Exabytes) with a very long retention life‑time (> 100 years) within an attractive capex and opex budget.
Headquartered in Paris, Biomemory aims at serving the fast-growing international “cold-storage” market. This position is based in Biomemory’s newest office location of Boston, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities
Biomemory is expanding their production team in the US and looking for a technician to support the team as they scale up their manufacturing. You will be working directly at the forefront of a technological breakthrough with a capable and focused team.
About you
Profile
This job is aimed at a recent college graduate who is eager to perform hands‑on experiments in an evolving startup environment. If you don’t meet all of the requirements listed, but are interested in learning more, please still submit your resume for consideration.
Education
B.S. in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology or related field
Technical Skills
Knowledge of molecular biology techniques
Knowledge of sterile technique and BSL-1 lab safety
Strong attention to detail and comfortable performing repetitive, hands‑on lab tasks, while maintaining quality and accuracy in a production‑focused lab environment
Soft Skills
Ability to work at a bench for extended periods
Ability to lift and move lab supplies and materials (up to ~25 lbs)
Proficiency in written and verbal scientific English
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Up to a year of experience in a biological or chemical laboratory environment
Hands‑on experience with molecular biology techniques
Hands‑on experience with sterile technique and BSL-1 lab safety
Experience with managing spreadsheets
Good to know
This job will require you to be able to travel on‑site to our Charlestown location 5 days a week, 40 hours a week. Working hours may vary based on experiments and production timelines, but will not differ significantly from a standard working schedule without prior arrangement and agreement.
