
Warehouse Associate

Position Purpose
The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Associate is to load/unload merchandise from trucks, move material within the facility, and from the loading platform by carrying, pushing, rolling or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or other material handling equipment. They safely operate forklifts or other machinery to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products. The Warehouse Associate ensures jobs are staged and pulled prior to installation and may call service providers and delivery carriers to schedule pick‑ups and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
25% Contact Service Provider – assists with completion of open services in a timely manner
50% Loading and Unloading – loads and unloads product and moves material within the warehouse
25% Safety – ensures site and warehouse safety standards and compliance, cleanliness and organization

This position typically reports to Branch Installation Manager

Travel Requirements
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time
Physical Requirements
Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward
Working Conditions
Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from dust, fumes, or odors
Minimum Qualifications
Must be eighteen years of age or older
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
Home improvement or remodeling experience
Minimum Education
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED
