CDL - B Delivery Driver- Regional

American Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG") has an immediate opportunity for Class A CDL Delivery Driver in Springfield, MO. This position requires a Class B CDL with Air Brakes & HazMat endorsements. The role is responsible for loading, unloading, moving and storing gas and liquid cylinders and other hard good supplies; making deliveries to customers or other branches; and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately.
Incentives
Out of town routes, requiring 3-4 overnight stays per week. Hotel provided. Home on the weekends. Evening meal per diem provided.

Responsibilities
Load, unload, move and store gas and liquid cylinders and other hard good supplies; make deliveries to customers or other branches; fill out delivery tickets completely and accurately.
Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations.
Move, load, and unload empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently.
Ensure appropriate completion and accuracy of paperwork including shipping papers and delivery tickets.
Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent.
Class A CDL required with Hazmat and Airbrakes endorsement or ability to obtain both endorsements.
Clean driving record.
Ability to read and write English.
Ability to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; lift 50–75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders.
Successful completion of pre‑employment drug screen, DOT physical, background assessment and company‑administered road test.
Ability to communicate with customers.
